In the village of Teti, this desssert was specially prepared on the feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 kg of flour<br>1 kg of sugar<br>500 g of honey<br>2 kg of walnuts and hazelnuts<br>1 kg of raisins<br>200 g of lard<br>anise seed to taste<br>little colored sprinkles for the garnish<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><strong>METHOD:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Melt the lard and honey in warm water. Combine the flour with the sugar in a bowl, then add the melted lard and honey. When the mixture is well worked and homogeneous, gradually incorporate the dried fruit, raisins and anise seed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When all the ingredients are combined, form the desserts into shapes which should resemble small bread loaves. Cover them with a cloth and let them rest overnight. Finally, the next day cook them in the oven at 200 degrees for about an hour.
